Samsung Galaxy S5 has received the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop in several regions across the globe, and basedon latest reports, the update is now rolling out in Canada as well.
A report suggests that Samsung Galaxy S5 on Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Koodo, WIND Mobile and other networks are now getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop as we speak.
Bell has already confirmed about the roll out, but there’s no official statement from other carriers about it. The update is rolling out over-the-air (OTA) and bumps the firmware to G900W8VLU1BOB3.
With Android 5.0 Lollipop, users get a handful of exciting features and improvements, including the all new Material design, improved lock screen notifications, ART runtime, flashlight access in the quick settings menu, improved security and much more.
The update may take a few days to reach all devices, but if you are impatient, you can manually check for it by heading to Settings > About device > Software update > Update.
