Not too long ago Ford told us all that it planned to highlight SUVs and Crossovers in big way during SEMA 2015. Ford will have 28 customized Edge Sport and Explorer Sport vehicles at the show. We have seen a few images of some of those SUVs, but details on what exactly had been done to them were scant. That has changed with Ford offering some details on the All Star Performance Explorer Sport.
This SUV is aimed at go anywhere performance for the off-road set. It has a 2.5-inch Traxda lift kit to give the SUV more ground clearance. For more power to get through the rough stuff it gets a MagnaFlow exhaust and a Vortech front mount intercooler.
The wheels are 20 x 11 ADV.1 ADV10R with Toyo A/T II 305/50R tires. The brakes are upgraded all around and the outside of the vehicle gets custom paint, a THULE Canyon carrier basked, and LED light bars front and rear. The interior has custom suede and leather upholstery with Sony AV gear and an Optima battery. That basket on top of the SUV will let it carry just about anything you need for the outdoors.
