Furi Game Launching On PlayStation 4 Next Year (video)

Furi Game PS4
Emeric Thoa from developers The Game Bakers has taken to the PlayStation blog this week to reveal more details about the upcoming Furi game that will be launching on PlayStation 4 sometime next year.
As well as revealing details about the new Furi game, Thoa has also published an announcement trailer providing a glimpse of what you can expect from the game that is still currently under development.
Thoa explains little more :
Hello, fighting fans. The story of Furi starts ten years ago, on a plane, as I was headed to a game show. At the time I was a junior designer for a big video game company. Indie development hadn’t really taken off yet, so the idea of making my own console game was nothing more than a pipe dream.
But the person travelling with me asked me what I would do if I could make my dream game, and I told him about this game that would be one long boss fight. A boss fight against an opponent similar to you, not a gigantic creature or a demon. A boss fight that felt like a duel — a tense, exhausting, and utterly rewarding duel.
Furi is the manifestation of this idea that’s stuck with me for the past ten years, as I grew as a designer and set up my own indie studio, The Game Bakers. Furi is a game where you fight for a reason. It’s a game that teases you before the fight, while you walk toward your fate, the same way you would be pumped up and stressed before a boxing match. As you do, you’ll start to piece together about why you’re here and what you’re fighting for.
No specific release date as to when the game will be available next year has been announced as yet, but as soon as more details become available we will keep you updated as always. Check out the announcement trailer below to learn more.

Battlefield Hardline Now In EA Access Vault

battlefield
Electronic Arts has announced that a new title has joined the list of titles that are free to play via the XboxOne service EA Access. Battlefield Hardline. This is a relatively new title too. The game is essentially a cops and robbers take on the Battlefield franchise. The title was released earlier this year in March and here we are seven months later when it has entered the EA Access Vault.
EA Access Vault is a service for Xbox One owners. It costs $4.99 per month and members can access the vault and play any of the games contained in it without any extra charge. Even those who didn’t purchase a copy of Hardline can play it, if you have an Xbox One. It just costs the $5 membership fee. You get a lot for that small fee.

The game was popular when it first arrived because it has a unique take on the Battlefield franchise. Right now there are more than a dozen games included in the vault. Members also get access to pre-release trials of some games. The trial for the new Need for Speed beings October 29th and for Star Wars Battlefront on November 12th. You also get a 10 percent discount on all purchases made through the EA store as well as add-on content in Xbox Games Store. It is definitely worth the price.

Star Wars Battlefront Beta Enjoyed By 9 Million Players (video)

Star-Wars-Battlefront-Beta
Now the Star Wars Battlefront beta gameplay testing is officially over EA DICE has announced over 9 million players logged into the beta service to try out the new game before its launch in November.
Senior producer Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir from EA DICE explained it was the “the single largest beta in the history of EA”.
Ever since we revealed Star Wars Battlefront back in April, we knew the beta would be a huge test for our game. After all, the beta has been one of the most talked about topics around the game over the last six months, and it was exciting (and a little nerve racking if I’m being completely honest) to open it up to the world.
And like Han Solo at the end of A New Hope, we’re glad you showed up. Even more importantly than just showing up, you’ve been spending a lot of time playing, having a great time and leaving us some invaluable feedback, as we continue to tune and balance the game until launch.
On behalf of the team at DICE, and everyone at EA, thank you for playing.
Star Wars Battlefront launches next month on November 17th 2015. Check out 90 minutes of gameplay below if you didn’t get a chance to play.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 ‘Realistic’ Difficulty Offers One-Shot Kills

codkill
Something interesting was discovered through Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s trophy listings: The fact that there might be a “Realistic” difficulty mode in the game. And now Treyarch has confirmed it as we get ever closer to the release the new title.
This mode will test players skills like none other. In this mode, things get super realistic, as in players get killed even if they take just one shot in the game. Boom. You’re dead.

Producer Jason Blundell says that in Realistic difficulty players have just one point of life, “so if you’re shot once, you’re dead. It completely changes the way you play the game.” That’s why it is called realistic.
Co-op players will have to rely on each other to survive as a group. Blundell says, “you end up respecting the level in a completely different way,” If one bullet hits you or if a grenade goes off near you, you’re dead. End of story. The end.
Also, the AI has been entirely rewritten in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 so that it can make “independent decisions,” and there will be more types of AI than the franchise has ever had before. Honestly this is sounding more and more amazing.
