We previously heard that the YotaPhone 2 would be headed to the USA via mobile carrier T-Mobile, although it appears that is not the case and the device is launching in the US through crowdfunding.
YotaPhone have announced that their YotaPhone 2 smartphone will be available in the US in April through crowdfunding platform Indiegogo and the device will work with AT&T and T-Mobile.
As a reminder the YotaPhone 2 comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and the handset features dual displayswith a 5 inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels on the front, plus a 4.7 inch e-ink display on the back with a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.
The handset will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz and the device will come with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the handset include a front facing 2.1 megapixel camera and an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and auto focus. The device also comes with a 2500 mAh battery which supports wireless charging and it will feature Bleutooth 4.0, NFC, A-GPS and WiFi.
