After India's crucial win over Australia in their final Super 10 match of World T20 courtesy Virat Kohli's brilliant 51-ball 82-run knock that helped India seal a place in the semi-final, twitter was abuzz with adulation for the batsman, but along with the appreciation were the usual trolls which were directed at actress Anushka Sharma. But this time Kohli seems to have not taken to these trolls kindly and expressed his displeasure via twitter.
He wrote on twitter, "Shame on people for trolling @AnushkaSharma non-stop. Have some compassion. She has always only given me positivity". Along with the tweet, Kohli also posted a picture that had the word 'SHAME', calling for people to have some compassion.
Anushka Sharma was said to be in a relationship with Virat Kohli. The duo had reportedly broken up recently. Even when they were together, Anushka was the butt of all jokes on social media and was often blamed for Kohli's poor performance with the bat.
