LG G4 Android Marshmallow Update Starts Next Week

LG has announced that it will start rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to its first device next week, the LG G4.
Owners of the LG G4 in Poland will get the Android 6.0 update first, it will then be rolled out to other countries in Europe and then Asia and the Americas.
LG has said that they have been working closely with Google on the Android Marshmallow update for the LG G4 and this has allowed them to release the update quickly after Google released the OS.
“By working closely with Google, LG has been able to bring Android 6.0 to the G4 ahead of any of our competitors,” said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company. “While speed alone isn’t an indicator of great service, it does go a long way toward giving consumers the confidence that LG is committed to its existing customers first.”
The company has said that details of the release of Android 6.0 for the LG G4 in individual countries will be announced closer to the release of the software.
As soon as we get some more details on when LG will release the Android 6.0 software update for the LG G4 in each country, we will let you guys know.

Wireless Battery Charging Cover For LG V10 In The Works

The LG V10 was announced recently and now details of a new official LG accessory for the handset have been revealed.
LG is apparently working on a wireless charging cover for the V10 which come with QI charging and the device is apparently headed to the US and Europe.
The V10 comes with dual displays, the main display measures 5.7 inches and has a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the secondary display is designed to display notifications and it measures 2.1 inches.
The handset is powered by a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and will also come with 4GB of RAM, there is 64GB of built in storage, this can be expanded by a microSD card slot which takes up to 2TB cards.
The device features a 5 megapixel front facing camera with a dual lens designed for Selfies, the rear camera is a 16 megapixel camera with OIS. The handset will launch in a range of colors which include Ocean Blue, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Space Black and Opal Blue.
The LG V10 is launching in the US shortly and it will be available with the major carriers, including AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, there are no details as yet on whether this new wireless charging cover will launch at the same time.

LG GPay Mobile Payment System In The Works

Apple has Apple Pay, Samsung has Samsung Pay and now LG is apparently working on their own mobile payment system which will be called LG GPay.
LG has trademarked the LG GPay name in South Korea and the US, which suggests that LG is getting ready to launch their new mobile payment system.
According to a recent report, LG’s GPay will offer more payment options than Samsung Pay, although exactly what payment options will be offered have not been revealed.
As yet there are no details on when LG’s new mobile payment system will launch, the service will apparently be made official before the end of the year.
As soon as we get some more information on GPay, including details on which of LG’s smartphones it will be available on, we will let you guys know.

LG V10 Will Come With LG GATE Security

LG recently announced their new LG V10 smartphone and now the company has announced that the handset will come with their enterprise security, LG GATE.
LG GATE  conforms to the US Federal Government Standard with FIPS 140-2 Certification, it also meets the AES-256 standard.
As a reminder, the LG V10 features a 5.7-inch display that has a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels there is also a secondary 2.1-inch display which shows notifications.
The handset comes with a hex core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 4GB of RAM, it also comes with 64gB of storage, plus a microSD card slot which supports up to 2TG cards.
The LG V10 has a dual lens 5 megapixel camera on the front and a 16 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization on the back, it will be available in a range of colors, which include Space Black, Opal Blue, Modern Beige, Luxe White and Ocean Blue.
